Out with minor adductor issue
Laimer (adductor) was ruled out of Friday's Bundesliga match against Union Berlin, the club posted.
Analysis: Laimer picked up only a minor issue in his left adductor region, so the absence is likely to be short-term. Josip Stanisic starts at right back in his place, which gives the backline a natural replacement and keeps the midfield intact. Laimer's availability for the next match will depend on how the adductor responds in team training over the coming days.
Starts, goes full 90
Laimer (thigh) started and went the full 90 in the 2-1 win over Dortmund in the German Super Cup on Saturday.
Analysis: Laimer had resumed full training earlier this week, so it wasn't surprising to see him start on the right side of the defense. Laimer is expected to be the first-choice right-back for Bayern again in the 2026/27 campaign. He made 32 starts between the Bundesliga and the UEFA Champions League last season.
