Concedes once in road victory
Rafael had one save and allowed one goal in Saturday's 3-1 win over Sporting Kansas City.
Analysis: Rafael had a relatively quiet match in goal for Real Salt Lake, making one save while conceding once as his side secured its first road victory since March 7. The goalkeeper was beaten by Taylor Calheira in the 26th minute but made an important late intervention to deny Ian James and preserve RSL's two-goal advantage. Rafael has now recorded 77 saves, 46 goals conceded and three clean sheets across 29 MLS appearances this season. He will look to build on Saturday's victory when Real Salt Lake host St. Louis City on Oct. 24.
No saves in draw
Rafael allowed a goal without making a save during Saturday's 1-1 draw with Minnesota.
Analysis: Rafael allowed the game tying goal in the 93rd minute as RSL settled for a point Saturday. The keeper has allowed two goals while combining for seven saves and keeping a clean sheet over his last three starts. RSL head to LAFC following the World Cup on July 22nd.
