Phenominal Saturday
Freese recorded six saves and secured a clean sheet in Saturday's 2-0 victory over Real Salt Lake. In addition, he was given a yellow card in the 98th minute.
Analysis: Freese delivered one of his best performances of the season Saturday, making six saves to preserve a clean sheet against Real Salt Lake. It was his second clean sheet in the last three matches after going nine MLS games without one dating back to early May, a strong sign of improved form following a difficult stretch from him and his defensive line. He is set to face RBNY in the Hudson River Derby on Friday, who have scored just four goals in the last five contests. Freese had also made four saves while coneding just a goal to the opponent during the last outing on May 16.
Keeps first clean sheet in 10 games
Freese made three saves in Saturday's 0-0 draw with Nashville SC.
Analysis: Freese did his part to keep his first MLS clean sheet in 10 games, dating back to May 13. He has made three saves in each of his last three appearances, and he will look to keep the New England Revolution off the board in Wednesday's home tilt.
