Hugo Magnetti

Remains out with hamstring issue

Magnetti is out for Saturday's season opener against Le Mans as the club opts not to take any risk with him not yet fully fit, according to coach Julien Lachuer.

Analysis: Magnetti had already missed the friendly against Nottingham Forest with the same hamstring issue, and this update confirms his recovery has continued to lag behind the hoped for timeline heading into the season. Joris Chotard and Lucas Tousart are expected to start together in central midfield in his absence, though Magnetti's return is anticipated soon given the cautious framing around his situation rather than a longer term setback.
