Returns to Lens
Gorgelin has signed with Lens out of free agency, according to his new club.
Analysis: Gorgelin is back with Lens for another season as he inks a one-year contract, set to return as a backup goalie. He only featured once with the team all of last season, playing in the final game of the season. That said, he will remain in a backup role, with Robbin Risser and Herve Koffi likely ahead of him in the pecking order.
Logs four-save clean sheet
Gorgelin made four saves and secured a clean sheet in Sunday's 4-0 victory over Lyon.
Analysis: In the final match day of Lens' 2025-26 season, Gorgelin logged his first and only game for said campaign. By logging a four-save clean sheet, he may have have ensured that at worst, he can remain a No. 2 option next season.
