Analysis: Nmecha was issued the starting role in the midfield Sunday over Leon Goretzka and did well with his time on the field, quickly breaking through and scoring in the sixth minute. Despite lining up in a more defensive role, he would see plenty of work in the attack due to the control Germany had on the match, recording a solid four shots. The main question is whether this was enough to maintain the starting role, as Goretzka is the more veteran pick in that role, and a slightly more defensive option.
