Analysis: Fofana is expected to be sidelined for approximately two months after sustaining a tear in the adductor muscle of his left leg. The injury, suffered by the Rennes loanee just before the club's September 20 classico against Benfica, interrupted his progress under manager Francesco Farioli, who had been gradually increasing his playing time and physical conditioning. The player will now undergo a rehabilitation program with the medical team, progressing from individual work to re-integrated training before returning to match selection.
Returns to Rennes
