Youri Tielemans

Tielemans assisted once to go with one shot (zero on goal), three crosses (two accurate) and three chances created in Sunday's 1-1 draw versus Leeds United.

Analysis: Tielemans delivered the cross that allowed Bryan Mbeumo to open the scoring, registering an assist while creating three chances from his advanced midfield position. The Belgian started as an attacking midfielder for the second consecutive match across all competitions, having previously occupied that role in the Champions League, and appears particularly comfortable operating closer to the opposition's penalty area. He has now recorded one assist, 10 chances created, 13 tackles and eight interceptions across seven Premier League appearances this season. His combination of creativity, passing ability and defensive contributions could encourage Manchester United to continue deploying him in an advanced role, potentially increasing his attacking production.

Lackluster in team debut

Tielemans took an off target shot and crossed once inaccurately during Saturday's 2-0 loss to Hull City.

Analysis: Tielemans had a debut to forget as he managed little going forward and offered no defensive contributions before being replaced by Kobee Mainoo in the 67th minute. Better days should lie ahead for both Tielemans and United as Saturday's match was a shock to begin their season.
