Assists in season opener
Lacroix assisted once to go with zero corners and one chance created in Monday's 3-2 win against Fulham.
Analysis: Lacroix made his competitive debut for Chelsea Monday and marked the occasion with a rare goal contribution. He made an impressive run towards the end of the first half and then laid the ball off to Morgan Rogers who finished off the attack. It was the only chance Lacroix created in the match. While Lacroix racked up defensive stats, the Chelsea defense still did not look entirely stable, allowing two goals on six shots on target.
Makes four clearances in loss
Lacroix registered one tackle (one won), four clearances and one interception in Saturday's 6-4 loss versus England.
Analysis: Lacroix set himself apart from a disastrous performance for France's defense, as he registered a clearance off the goal line and a last-man tackle in addition to a variety of contributions throughout the match. The Crystal Palace man emerged as William Saliba's (back) replacement for the final couple of games, but it was not enough for him to record a clean sheet given that he was an unused substitute in the easier matches. Still, he remains an imposing center-back asset for future action with both club and country.
