Allows Two against City
Petrovic made four saves and allowed two goals in Sunday's 2-1 loss versus Manchester City.
Analysis: Petrovic looked to be having a stellar match against City on Sunday until the later stages of the match, making four saves. However, he would then allow one before a penalty kick was given to City in the final minutes, leading to their second goal and the win. He will now prepare to face Everton in their next contest, likely to be an easier match after the pressure his defense faced against City.
Concedes once versus Nottingham
Petrovic recorded three saves and allowed one goal in Sunday's 1-1 draw versus Nottingham Forest.
Analysis: Petrovic stopped some close-range shots during his last opportunity to produce in the 2025/26 period. Despite some ups and downs in his performance, the goalkeeper remained the unquestioned starter from beginning to end, helping a side that finished the campaign on a 17-game unbeaten streak. His most significant numbers were 113 saves, 57 goals conceded and 11 clean sheets across 39 matches played in all competitions.
