Frantzdy Pierrot

Analysis: Pierrot was given the start at forward for Haiti Friday but couldn't get much going, as the forward would fail to even secure a shot in the loss. He would actually do more in the defense, recording a few clearances. He should maintain starting time in the group stage finale despite Haiti's elimination.

Tallies three shots in loss

Pierrot recorded three shots (one on goal) and one chance created in Saturday's 1-0 defeat versus Scotland.

Analysis: Pierrot played well in his World Cup debut, although his attempts were not enough for Haiti to open their scoring count Saturday. The forward is established as one of the top finishers on Haiti's current roster thanks to his record of 33 goals in 49 international appearances. However, he might continue to find it difficult to produce direct contributions given the demanding schedule ahead. He'll look to retain an edge over Duckens Nazon to partner Wilson Isidor up front in upcoming contests.
