Two goal contributions Saturday
Berterame scored one goal and assisted once from two shots and one chance created in Saturday's 3-1 win versus Atlanta United.
Analysis: Berterame was active in Saturday's win, notching a first-half goal to gain the lead just before halftime, then adding an assist in the 56th minute as they extended the lead. This is a third straight game with a goal contribution for the forward, bagging two goals and two assists during the span. He is up to nine goals and seven assists in 26 appearances (23 starts) this season, a great debut campaign in Miami thus far.
Back in starting XI
Berterame (concussion) has been included in Miami's starting lineup to face Toronto on Saturday.
Analysis: Berterame took almost a month to clear the concussion protocol after the scary injury he suffered during a July 25 match against Montreal. The forward is now fully ready to play his usual role in the front line alongside Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez, pushing Daniel Pinter to backup duty. Prior to the issue, Berterame tallied seven goals and four assists over 17 appearances in the 2026 MLS season.
