No longer suspended
Voyer has served his suspension in the 2026/27 Ligue 1 opener and will look to return to action in upcoming contests.
Analysis: Voyer is a settled starter from Le Mans' Ligue 2 campaign last year, so he'll have a strong chance to have his role restored after Rayan Bamba and Theo Eyoum covered defensive duties while he was out. The experienced defender will likely get involved mainly in clearance and ball recovery work, with clean sheets more difficult to obtain for a newly promoted side.
Signs contract extension until 2028
Voyer has signed a contract extension with Le Mans until 2028, the club announced.
Analysis: Voyer joined in 2022 and has made 102 appearances across all competitions, including 26 league outings and 21 starts last season during which he also scored a goal at Troyes. Voyer has been part of both of the club's successive promotions to Ligue 2 and now Ligue 1, bringing not only defensive quality and strong distribution but a positive presence in the dressing room. He becomes the sixth player to commit to the club's Ligue 1 project.
