Suspended Saturday
Resch recorded two tackles (one won), seven clearances and two interceptions in Saturday's 2-2 draw against FC Dallas. In addition, he was given a yellow card in the 27th minute.
Analysis: Resch has been handed a one match suspension and is set to miss the clash with Minnesota. He's just getting back to the swing of things, recording a start in two appearances since his return from injury. His absence does mean that Antonio Carlos will likely get to start again at center back for Saturday's clash.
Season high three interceptions
Resch generated one tackle (zero won), four clearances and three interceptions in Saturday's 1-0 victory versus Vancouver Whitecaps FC. In addition, he was given a yellow card in the 54th minute.
Analysis: Resch continued his run in the starting lineup with a seventh consecutive start, topping his side with a season-high three interceptions. He also added four clearances and one tackle in a clean-sheet effort, his fourth in that stretch. Over the run, he has accumulated nine tackles, 10 interceptions, seven blocks and 32 clearances.
