Signs permanently for Barcelona

Abdelkarim has joined Barcelona on a permanent basis after the club exercised their purchase option with Al Ahly, signing a contract until June 2029, the club announced.

Analysis: Abdelkarim joined Barcelona's Juvenil A side in the winter transfer window and made an immediate impact, scoring six goals across nine league appearances including a hat trick in a 9-0 victory over Montecarlo on the day the team won the Liga de Division de Honor title, while also featuring in two Copa del Rey matches. Abdelkarim is currently representing Egypt at the World Cup, having featured in both group stage matches against Belgium and New Zealand, and now commits his future to Barcelona as he looks to continue his development at the club.
