Signs extension through 2030

Devernois signed a contract extension with Auxerre through 2030, the club announced.

Analysis: Devernois joined the Auxerre academy in 2022 from partner club Bretigny and progressed through every level of the youth setup before turning professional last summer and making his senior debut this season, featuring in the Coupe de France and making two Ligue 1 appearances. The 19-year-old French midfielder has also represented France at under-19 level on seven occasions, scoring one goal, underlining his development as one of the more promising young talents in the club's academy. His extension reflects both the club's ambition and their confidence in his continued progression heading into the coming seasons.
