Sanabria received a red card in Wednesday's meeting with San Jose Earthquakes.
Analysis: Sanabria left his side with 10 men after being booked twice in the first half of the derby. This leaves the midfielder out of the weekend's trip to Montreal, in which Elijah Wynder (leg) might also be absent, potentially giving Isaiah Parente or new signing Sergi Roberto a chance to join Justin Haak in holding midfield. The Uruguayan, who has been a regular starter for most of the year, will look to regain his usual role on Aug. 28 at San Diego.
Assists against Vancouver
Sanabria assisted once to go with one shot (zero on goal) and one chance created in Saturday's 1-1 draw versus Vancouver Whitecaps FC. In addition, he was given a yellow card in the 65th minute.
Analysis: Sanabria created Joseph Paintsil's opener just after halftime with his first assist in the season. The midfielder also received his fourth yellow card. That was his sixth start in a row and eighth overall in 11 appearances so far.
