Starts in Brazil win
Rayan started and played 61 minutes as Brazil earned a 4-2 friendly win over Australia in Brisbane, according to the club.
Analysis: Rayan received an opportunity from the start and was involved in the buildup to Brazil's opening goal before being replaced by Estevao shortly after the hour mark. The 20-year-old has also been regularly involved for Bournemouth this season, attempting 12 shots while creating three chances and delivering 10 crosses across five Premier League appearances. His continued involvement with Brazil provides another opportunity to build experience, with a friendly against India coming Saturday.
One shot, no goal
Rayan registered one shot (one on goal) and one chance created in Sunday's 2-1 loss to Manchester City.
Analysis: Rayan was handed the start for the Cherries as they almost looked to have topped City, with the forward serving on the right flank for 89 minutes in what was his first loss with the club. His contributions were minimal, adding a shot on target and a chance created that led to very little. After his inclusion in the Brazil World Cup squad, people are expecting a lot from the forward, as he scored five goals and two assists in 15 appearances (13 starts) last season.
