Strikes in club debut
Romano scored a goal while taking two shots (both on goal), crossing once inaccurately, creating a chance and making four tackles (winning all four) during Saturday's 1-0 win over Parma.
Analysis: Romano claimed all three points in the 79th minute while leading Cagliari in tackles during his team debut. The goal was the first in Serie A for the 19-year old and a great start to life at Cagliari after making a move from Roma in July.
Heads to Cagliari
Romano has joined Cagliari on a season-long loan with an obligation to buy from Roma.
Analysis: Romano recorded one assist in 19 appearances with Spezia from January on last season. He'll bolster the midfield, primarily with defensive-minded duties, following the departures of Michael Folorunsho and Luca Mazzitelli.
