Involved in two goals in win
Kostoulas scored one goal and assisted once from four shots and one chance created in Sunday's 5-0 victory over Crystal Palace.
Analysis: Kostoulas set up Yasin Ayari with a clever back-heel pass in the 10th minute, then finished from close range in the 49th to complete an outstanding display against Palace. The Greek forward increased his season totals to five goals and three assists in 10 appearances across all competitions. He's making a strong case as Brighton's first-choice striker, and his attacking potential is considerable while he continues to feature for a side that leads the league in scoring.
Requires stitches after injury
Kostoulas suffered a leg injury during Greece's 2-1 win over Serbia and required stitches, though the issue is not considered serious, according to The Argus.
Analysis: Kostoulas was able to continue playing despite suffering the injury around the 15th minute, eventually leaving the match in the 63rd minute. The fact that he remained on the pitch and reports indicating the issue is not serious are encouraging signs, though his condition will need to be assessed ahead of Sunday's Nations League clash with Germany.
