Tate Johnson

Assists in win

Johnson assisted once to go with one cross (zero accurate) and one chance created in Saturday's 2-1 victory versus Austin FC.

Analysis: Johnson earned player of the match honors with a commanding all-around performance, delivering the pass to Yadaly Diaby that sealed the win, while also leading all players with 13 defensive contributions and 99 touches. The error that led to Myrto Uzuni's goal was the one blemish on an otherwise excellent display, and his 2.92 expected assists across 28 matches this season reflects just how consistently he creates from left back despite his lone assist on the season. His next fixture against Colorado, who sit ninth in the Western Conference, presents a favorable opportunity to build on what has been a standout campaign.
