Beaten twice in defeat
Beach made four saves and allowed two goals in Sunday's 2-0 defeat versus Lille.
Analysis: Beach made four saves in Sunday's 2-0 Ligue 1 defeat at Lille, denying Ayase Ueda at point-blank range in the 40th minute and keeping Troyes within one goal until the 90th minute before Ethan Mbappe's stoppage-time goal sealed the result. He was beaten by Tiago Santos' 18th minute first-time strike into the top corner and was powerless on Mbappe's 90+3 close-range finish. Beach will look to show a better figure in Saturday's clash against Angers.
Logs one-save clean sheet
Beach recorded one save and secured a clean sheet in Saturday's 0-0 draw versus Paris FC.
Analysis: As expected, it looks like Beach will be Troyes' first-choice goalkeeper after a solid World Cup with Australia and subsequent transfer. For his team debut, all he needed to stop was an Ilan Kebbal shot, and the goalkeeper already has a clean sheet. Whether the goalie can maintain his strong form remains to be seen, and his first chance to replicate Saturday's performance will come Aug. 29 at Lorient.
