Starting against Galaxy
Quinton (calf) is back as a starter in Sunday's visit to Los Angeles Galaxy.
Analysis: Quinton will feature as part of a back three in his return to action following a two-week absence due to his calf issue. The defender will look to stay active for the rest of the season after tallying at least 40 passes in each of his last three games and racking up 32 clearances plus one assist over his five league starts in 2026. DeAndre Yedlin will be among the substitutes with Quinton back in the initial lineup.
Late call for Wednesday
Quinton is listed as questionable for Wednesday's match against Miami due to his calf injury, per the MLS Player Status Report.
Analysis: Quinton was a late scratch last week and will now have to prove himself to play Wednesday, listed as questionable. This should lead to a late fitness test, deciding whether he takes the field or not. He has been a regular starter when fit, so they will hope he is an option, likely to return to his starting role in the defense if deemed fit.
