Completes Leverkusen switch
Moreira has completed a permanent transfer from Lyon to Leverkusen until the end of the 2030/31 season, his new club announced Thursday.
Analysis: Moreira enjoyed an excellent season with Lyon in 2025/26, tallying eight goals and adding 11 assists across 37 appearances in all competitions. He'll add depth and creativity to Leverkusen's attacking line. His ability to play all over the attacking third will be a valuable asset for the German club.
Logs 12 crosses and corners
Moreira recorded three shots (one on goal), 12 crosses (three accurate) and 12 corners in Sunday's 4-0 defeat to Lens.
Analysis: Crossing the ball and attempting corners have primarily defined Moreira's 2025-26 season, in which he logged 11 G/A via four goals and seven assists. The forward recorded such on 40 shots (14 on goal), 121 crosses (33 accurate), 53 corners and 33 chances created.
