Luc De Fougerolles

Analysis: De Fougerolles was a major doubt heading into the weekend game after suffering an injury that turned out to be less significant than expected. Thus, the defender is available again, making his second MLS start at the expense of DeAndre Yedlin. The Canadian has been solid over his latest pair of appearances, adding one goal and an assist to his diverse defensive output while playing as part of a three-man back line.

De Fougerolles has been ruled out for Saturday's matchup against Vancouver Whitecaps because of non-injury reasons.

Analysis: De Fougerolles has yet to make his RSL debut following his transfer from Fulham in September, and it's likely he's still solving visa issues. With Justen Glad (groin), Lukas Engel (hamstring) and Juan Jose Arias (leg) also sidelined, players such as DeAndre Yedlin and Philip Quinton should continue to see opportunities at center-back. However, De Fougerolles may be a strong candidate to take a starting role as soon as he's able to feature.
