Loaned to Nashville SC
Saad has joined Nashville SC on a season long loan from FC Augsburg, according to his parent club.
Analysis: Saad spent the second half of last season on loan at Hannover 96, making 13 appearances and providing three assists, and also featured for Tunisia at the World Cup, appearing in group stage matches against Sweden and Japan. The 26 year old forward, who remains under contract with Augsburg through June 2029, now heads to MLS looking to build consistent playing time after a stop start stretch in Germany.
Returns to Augsburg
Saad will return to parent club FC Augsburg following the conclusion of his loan spell at Hannover 96.
Analysis: Saad picked up three assists in 13 appearances in 2. Bundesliga while on loan at Hannover 96, a modest return after Augsburg sent him out midseason having managed just 499 minutes across ten Bundesliga appearances. The loan did not include a purchase option, so Saad returns to Augsburg, where he remains under contract through 2029, with his role there still to be determined.
