Scores in victory
Gomez scored one goal to go with one shot (one on goal) and three crosses (zero accurate) in Sunday's 5-0 win over Crystal Palace.
Analysis: Gomez struck from the halfway line in the seventh minute, doubling Brighton's lead with a spectacular long-range finish during Sunday's clash. He also stood out above his usual average by completing three dribbles throughout the win. The goal ended a 10-match Premier League scoring drought and gave him one goal and one assist in seven league appearances this season. A regular starter on the right wing, he'll look to build on this performance as the team carries its great form into the next fixtures.
Provides one assist
Gomez assisted once to go with three shots (two on goal), two crosses (zero accurate) and two chances created in Sunday's 4-0 win versus Aston Villa.
Analysis: Gomez registered one assist, three shots (two on target), two crosses and two chances created in Sunday's 4-0 win over Aston Villa, delivering the crucial headed contribution at the far post that set up Jack Hinshelwood's first goal and combining consistently with Maxim De Cuyper and Georginio Rutter to produce a fluid attacking display that overwhelmed Villa's defensive shape in the opening half. The Paraguayan midfielder is one of Brighton's most technically versatile attacking options and his ability to create from wide areas and contribute in tight spaces gives coach Fabian Hurzeler an important creative threat.
