Rare league start
Dibling registered three shots (zero on goal), three crosses (one accurate) and two chances created in Saturday's 0-0 draw versus Burnley. In addition, he was given a yellow card in the 85th minute.
Analysis: With Iliman Ndiaye away at AFCON and Jack Grealish (illness) unavailable, Dibiling earned a start on the right wing, his first in the league since Oct. 5 against Crystal Palace, when he was substituted at halftime. He posted solid attacking numbers with three shots, three crosses and two chances created but finished without a goal or assist and remains without a goal involvement in his first season with Everton.
Signs with Everton
Dibling completed a transfer to Everton from Southampton, the club announced.
Analysis: Dibling made his move to Everton from Southampton and is now set to be an important part of the attack. Last season was tough for Dibling during his first run in the Premier League, as he finished with just two goals in 33 appearances. Everton profile as a better attacking unit, and have the space for Dibling to grow into a larger role without relying on him immediately.
