Targeting mid-October return
Osula (foot) is out of a boot and mobile again as he eyes a mid-October return, according to Craig Hope of the Daily Mail.
Analysis: Osula has received an update on his status after a foot injury took place to begin his season, as the forward is out of a boot and mobile again. This will leave him eyeing a return come the middle of October, using the September break to give him time to heal. This will be a major return for the club once fit, adding some depth back at forward as Osula, Yoane Wissa and Matias Fernandez-Pardo battle for time in that position.
Injury appears minor
Osula (undisclosed) is not believed to have suffered a serious injury during Saturday's 2-2 draw against Liverpool, according to coach Matthias Jaissle, per The Northern Echo. "Hopefully, it is not that serious and he can be back as soon as possible. That is the hope. For now, it looks quite positive, but we need to see and check him later."
Analysis: Osula picked up the issue following an early collision with Virgil van Dijk and was eventually forced off in the 55th minute after attempting to play through the discomfort. Initial signs are encouraging, though the striker will undergo further assessment to determine the extent of the injury. Osula is likely to miss Wednesday's Carabao Cup clash against West Brom, but the issue is not currently expected to result in a lengthy absence.
