Records two crosses
Scott had two crosses (zero accurate) and two corners in Sunday's 2-1 loss versus Manchester City.
Analysis: Scott was handed a major role in the Cherries side Sunday as he was tasked with leading the midfield, recording a full 90 minutes in a pivot role. This would lead him to 37 completed passes and two crosses, getting some decent help in that department from his role on corners. He would have to have a bit more of a defensive match against a very attacking City, notching one interception and four tackles.
With pre-tournament team
Scott (undisclosed) was unused off the bench in England's pre-World Cup warm-up matches.
Analysis: Scott was a late scratch from the final match of the season for Bournemouth due to a slight knock, but it was nothing to worry about heading into the summer, as he would get a call-up to the pre-World Cup camp with England. That said, the midfielder is fit heading into the 2026/27 season, where he is met with numerous transfer offers from top clubs as a possible move away from the Cherries looms. At his young age, the midfielder has built himself a solid career thus far in the Premier League, recording three goals and one assist to go along with 60 tackles, 81 clearances and 88 crosses in 37 appearances (34 starts) last campaign.
