Gets opportunity in rout
Osman registered one cross (one accurate) and one chance created in Sunday's 4-0 win versus Aston Villa.
Analysis: Osman came off the bench in Sunday's 4-0 win over Aston Villa, creating one chance and delivering one cross. The winger saw limited action with the result already secured but provided some attacking involvement from the flank. With Kaoru Mitoma and Yankuba Minteh sidelined, Osman could benefit from increased opportunities early in the campaign, while Brighton's involvement in European competition should also open the door for additional minutes through squad rotation.
Returns to Brighton
Osman will return to parent club Brighton following the conclusion of his season split between Auxerre and Birmingham City.
Analysis: Osman made 14 Ligue 1 appearances without a goal but two assists for Auxerre in the first half of the campaign before being recalled and sent to Birmingham, where he contributed two goals and two assists across 992 Championship minutes. Osman, who joined Brighton from Nordsjaelland in 2024 after scoring 10 goals and providing nine assists across 44 appearances in Denmark, now heads back to the Amex with his long-term future at the club still to be determined.
