Signs for Espanyol until 2031

Calatrava has joined Espanyol from Castellon on a contract until June 2031, the club announced.

Analysis: Calatrava established himself as one of the best players in the second division during his time at Castellon, scoring 21 goals and providing 19 assists across 75 appearances. Calatrava developed through several Catalan clubs before joining Atletico Madrid's reserve side, with whom he won promotion to Primera RFEF, before his move to Castellon where he consistently performed at a high level.
