Fit for Arsenal clash
Hadjam is fit to feature in Saturday's clash against Arsenal, having overcome the knock he took against Manchester United in the Carabao Cup, according to coach Fabian Hurzeler, per The Argus.
Analysis: Hadjam had picked up the issue after being substituted in the 74th minute of the Carabao Cup tie at Manchester United, a match in which he provided an assist for Charalampos Kostoulas on his first start for the club. His clean bill of health now confirms that scare has passed, though Oliver Boscagli has recently been deployed at left back, meaning this issue was unlikely to significantly affect the starting lineup regardless.
Transfers to Brighton
Hadjam completed a permanent transfer from BSC Young Boys to Brighton on Tuesday.
Analysis: Hadjam represented Algeria at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, appearing in three games and starting in the 3-3 draw against Austria. He should provide cover on the left side of the defense, and if deemed fit enough, he could make his EPL debut against Chelsea on Sunday, Aug. 30.
