Signs new contract with Tottenham
Kinsky signed a new contract with Tottenham, the club announced.
Analysis: Kinsky joined from his hometown club Slavia Prague in January 2025 and made an immediate impression with a clean sheet on his debut in a Carabao Cup win against Liverpool. The 23-year-old Czech goalkeeper stepped into the starting role under coach Roberto De Zerbi following Guglielmo Vicario's hernia surgery, playing every minute of the final seven matches of the season and delivering a string of inspiring saves against Wolves, Leeds and Everton that earned him nominations for the Premier League's Save of the Month and Save of the Season awards. His clean sheet in the crucial final-day win against Everton marked his 20th appearance for the club. Sporting director Johan Lange and De Zerbi both praised his work ethic, character and potential, with De Zerbi describing Tottenham as the perfect place for him to continue developing into one of the best goalkeepers in Europe.
Keeps clean sheet to clinch safety
Kinsky recorded one save and allowed zero goals in Sunday's 1-0 victory against Everton. In addition, he was given a yellow card in the 97th minute.
Analysis: Kinsky only faced one shot on target Sunday, but he was able to make a nice save on that attempt to secure the clean sheet. This victory clinched Spurs' safety from relegation, and Kinsky was a big reason why. He started the final seven matches of the season and kept two clean sheets, made 10 saves and conceded seven goals as Spurs won three, drew two and lost two over that stretch. His late season heroics could see him challenge for the starting job next season over Guglielmo Vicario.
