Seeing minimal playing time
Alcaraz has played just 27 minutes across all competitions this season, scoring once in the Carabao Cup against Wolves.
Analysis: Alcaraz has been limited to a peripheral role in both Premier League and cup competition, with nearly all of his opportunities coming from the bench. He remains well down the pecking order both on the wing and in attacking midfield, leaving him with a difficult path to regular minutes. His Carabao Cup goal showed he can contribute in limited action, but he will likely remain dependent on rotation or absences for increased opportunities.
Fit for bench
Alcaraz (undisclosed) is on the bench for Sunday's match against Liverpool.
Analysis: Alcaraz is back in the team sheet Sunday as expected, with the attacker set for a bench role after some time out due to an undisclosed injury. He has nearly missed two months and will now need to get back up to speed before hopefully working into a starting role again, only playing once since Dec. 30 due to his constant injuries.
