Joins Brentford
Anthony completed a permanent transfer to Brentford from Burnley and signed a four-year contract with a club option for an additional season, the club announced.
Analysis: Anthony arrives after a productive 2025-26 Premier League campaign in which he recorded eight goals and four assists while appearing in all but one league match. The 26-year-old winger has established himself as a reliable top-flight performer following successful spells with Bournemouth and Burnley, where he played a key role in promotion before carrying that form into the Premier League. Known for his direct running, work rate and ability to contribute in the final third, Anthony adds proven experience and depth to Brentford's attacking options heading into the new season.
Bags opener Sunday
Anthony scored one goal to go with two shots (two on goal), five crosses (zero accurate) and two corners in Sunday's 2-2 draw against Aston Villa.
Analysis: Anthony opened up the scoring Sunday with an unassisted strike in the 8th minute. It was one of two shots he took in the match, both of which were on target. He also recorded five crosses, one tackle and one clearance before he was subbed off in the 87th minute for Jacob Bruun Larsen.
