Makes second straight appearance

Saibari made his second successive appearance for Bayern Munich following the injury he suffered at the World Cup.

Analysis: Saibari made his second successive appearance for his new club since returning from the injury he suffered during the World Cup. The Moroccan is comfortable across multiple midfield and attacking positions, versatility that should make him a valuable weapon for Bayern Munich this season. Though he has not yet started a match, he could get his opportunity in the attacking midfield role given Jamal Musiala's current condition. Saibari closed out last season with 15 goals and eight assists in 27 Eredivisie appearances for PSV ahead of his summer switch to Bayern, and also contributed three goals for Morocco at the World Cup.

Hopeful for France clash

Saibari (hamstring) is expected to remain in contention for Morocco's World Cup quarterfinal against France after medical tests revealed only a minor muscle issue, according to FC Update NL.

Analysis: Saibari was forced off after just 22 minutes during Morocco's Round of 16 victory over Canada, initially raising fears of a more serious hamstring injury. However, subsequent examinations showed the problem to be less severe than first feared, with the Bayern Munich midfielder now following a tailored recovery program under the supervision of Morocco's medical staff. While the team is taking a cautious approach to his rehabilitation, optimism is growing regarding his availability for the quarterfinal. Saibari has been one of Morocco's standout performers at the tournament, scoring three goals in five appearances and converting a penalty in the shootout win over the Netherlands.
