Available off bench Sunday
Garnacho (concussion) is on the bench for Sunday's clash against Brighton.
Analysis: Garnacho has cleared concussion protocols and is available for Sunday's Premier League opener. The winger will start on the bench, with George Hemmings getting the start on the left wing. Garnacho should provide a dangerous attacking option as a substitute, with any involvement Sunday potentially helping him push for a starting role in the coming fixtures.
Set to feature against Brighton
Garnacho has cleared concussion protocols and is available for Sunday's meeting with Brighton, with coach Unai Emery commenting the club wants to "protect and support" him, and that "He trains good every day, I'm seeing him happy and his adaptation on the field is getting better. Everything around us can get some noise. He's feeling better. He is fit for Sunday.", John Townley of Birmingham Live reports.
Analysis: Garnacho will contend for a starting spot in his official Aston Villa debut, likely leaving George Hemmings on the bench in the season opener. Following an inconsistent spell at Chelsea, the talented winger could hope to take on a greater role with his new club. If he does, he could serve as a source of various offensive stats throughout the campaign.
