Leaves after 13 minutes

Senaya was forced off in the 13th minute of Friday's match against Colombia due to an apparent hamstring injury.

Analysis: Senaya was the second early exit of Friday's match after Colombia also saw a player exit in the first 15 minutes, with Senaya suffering a hamstring injury in the 13th minute. This is a rough loss for the team, as he has started in all four games thus far and was expected to deal with Luis Diaz. Ghana is instead forced to rely on Alidu Seidu, a possible option for the team if they advance to the round of 16 and Senaya remains out.

Shines defensively in Croatia tilt

Senaya won three of six tackles and had two crosses (zero accurate), four clearances and two interceptions in Saturday's 2-1 defeat versus Croatia.

Analysis: Senaya was under pressure in the back, leading to another busy stat-line in that regard, but his team allowed two goals, and he wasn't effective on the other end. He has recorded at least five tackles, amassing 18 (11 won), and two clearances, totaling 10, in all three matches, adding five interceptions, seven crosses (one accurate) and two shots (zero on target) and contributing to one clean sheet.

Starts on Tuesday

Senaya recorded one shot (zero on goal) and two crosses (zero accurate) in Tuesday's 0-0 draw against England.

Analysis: Senaya put up a good display with seven tackles, four clearances and two interceptions and won nine ground duels. He only got a chance to complete seven passes as Ghana were not able to retain much of the ball. He covered nearly nine kilometers and was instrumental in stopping England attacks from the flank.

Keeps clean sheet vs Panama

Senaya had three crosses (one accurate) and five tackles in Wednesday's 1-0 win over Panama.

Analysis: Senaya started at right back for Ghana's World Cup opener, simultaneously making his World Cup debut. He helped his side keep a clean sheet as he won five duels, won three tackles, made two clearances, blocked one shot and intercepted one pass in a surprisingly busy day on defense. Despite keeping Panama scoreless, Senaya and the defense still allowed four shots on target and two big chances, a somewhat concerning result considering Panama's stature. He faces a much more difficult matchup Tuesday versus England, a side which put four past Croatia in the opening match.
