Daniel Carvajal

Carvajal could be in line for his Getafe debut when facing Rayo Vallecano on Monday, according to manager Jose Bordalas. "Dani has been working brilliantly alongside his teammates-with the rest of the squad-and, well, I'll make my decision by tomorrow. You'll find out tomorrow whether or not Dani ends up playing. He's just as prepared as the rest of the squad, and we'll make the decision tomorrow."

Analysis: Carvajal looks to have joined Getafe in match shape, as the defender could already see his debut for the club just a few days after signing with the team. As a veteran presence coming off a solid career with Real Madrid, he is expected to be a big boost to the defense, likely to earn most of the starting time at right-back. If he is given his chance to debut, it is unknown where he will start, as they may have begin him on the bench as he gets more accustomed to the club.

Farewell assist in final appearance

Carvajal assisted once to go with one cross (zero accurate) and two chances created in Saturday's 4-2 victory versus Athletic.

Analysis: Carvajal set up Gonzalo Garcia's 12th minute opener with a pinpoint long ball before being subbed off to a standing ovation from the Bernabeu faithful, with his teammates lining up in a guard of honor to salute his exit after 12 trophy-filled seasons in Madrid. He closes the book on his Real Madrid career after making just 22 appearances this season following a serious knee injury suffered in October 2025 that nearly ended his playing days altogether, with Saturday's outing serving as his final touch in a Merengue shirt. Carvajal departs as one of the club's all-time great servants, leaving behind a legacy that includes six Champions League titles and four La Liga crowns during his time in the Spanish capital.
