Wilfried Singo

Singo (hamstring) is out for Tuesday's match against the Ivory Coast, according to manager Emerse Fae, per Le Media 100Filtre. "Regarding Singo, we'll have to wait a bit longer. For tomorrow's match against Norway, he will not be available."

Analysis: Singo will not feature for the Ivory Coast as they head into the round of 32, as the defender is not healed enough to take the field. This comes after they already had to do without him in the group stage finale, although the task of defending against the Norway attack will be much more difficult for the Ivory Coast. With Singo out, Guela Doue will likely serve at right-back while a pairing of either Ousmane Diomande, Odilon Kossounou or Emmanuel Agbadou starts in the center of the defense.

Remains doubtful

Singo (hamstring) was not training with the Ivory Coast squad in the penultimate session before Tuesday's round of 32 clash against Norway, leaving his availability still in doubt, the federation posted.

Analysis: Singo had already missed Thursday's win over Curacao due to a hamstring issue, and his continued absence from training is a concerning sign heading into the knockout stage. Guela Doue is set to start if Singo misses further time, giving Ivory Coast a ready-made replacement option at right-back.
