Haak assisted once to go with one shot (zero on goal) and one chance created in Wednesday's 3-1 defeat versus Sporting Kansas City.
Analysis: Haak notched his first goal contribution for Los Angeles Wednesday, assisting their only goal in a 3-1 road defeat versus Kansas City. The defender entered the fixture with 26 minutes remaining, breaking a streak of nine successive starting appearances in league play. Haak supplied a career high four assists across 39 starting appearances for New York City FC during the 2025 MLS season.
Productive defensively
Haak recorded four tackles (two won), four clearances and four interceptions in Wednesday's 2-1 loss versus Columbus Crew.
Analysis: Although Haak and the Galaxy conceded twice in Wednesday's loss, he was still very active on that end of the pitch. He recorded four clearances in his sixth consecutive match, intercepted a season-high four passes and won two tackles on the defensive end. While he's been productive from a statistical standpoint, he has not kept a clean sheet this season despite making seven starts.
