Departs City for Saudi move
Reijnders has left Manchester City to join Al Qadsiah on a permanent deal, the club annonuced,
Analysis: Reijnders arrived at City from AC Milan last summer and got off to a memorable start, scoring on his Premier League debut in a 4-0 win at Wolves and helping the club win both the FA Cup and Carabao Cup in 2025-26. His playing time tapered off as the season progressed, though, and he finishes his City stint with 50 appearances and seven goals across all competitions. With City's midfield picture shifting under Enzo Maresca, Reijnders no longer looked part of the long-term plan, prompting the move to Saudi Arabia.
Provides assist in Tunisia tilt
Reijnders assisted once to go with three shots (two on goal), seven crosses (two accurate) and five corners in Thursday's 3-1 win against Tunisia.
Analysis: Reijnders padded his stats thanks to a robust number of corner kicks and generated two of the goals in such a fashion, the first one following a flick-on, gathering a secondary assist, while the second one directly, finding Jan Paul van Hecke in the crowd. He came very close to scoring with a beautiful lob in the second half, but it hit the crossbar. He paced his side in crosses and chances created. He has tallied at least one delivery, amassing 15 (five accurate), and one corner, piling up 10, in all three fixtures, adding three shots (one two on target) and key passes.
