Registers zero shots
Enciso registered two crosses (one accurate) and two tackles in Saturday's 3-2 loss against Manchester City.
Analysis: Enciso was not all that active against City as Ipswich found themselves defending most of the contest, recording only two crosses in the attack. He would fail to record a shot at all during the contest, his first time doing that this season. This would make it a fifth straight game since his last goal contribution after earning an assist in back-to-back games to open the season.
Assists, subbed off injured
Enciso was subbed off due to an apparent muscle injury to his left leg in the 71st minute of Saturday's 2-1 win versus Sunderland. He assisted once to go with three shots (zero on goal) and one chance created before exiting the match.
Analysis: Enciso had been one of Ipswich Town's standout performers before exiting before the injury cut his afternoon short. The 22 year old has a lengthy injury history, including a knee issue that sidelined him for much of last season, so any muscle complaint will be watched closely. Ipswich will hope it is not serious given how much they are relying on him as a focal point of Gary O'Neil's attack, and his availability for the next match should become clearer once the club provides an update.
