Konsa to Arsenal… I actually really like this one. I’m Midlands-based, semi-Villa myself and my family’s full of Villa fans, so I’ve watched him quite closely. Always felt he’d have been the perfect Joe Gomez replacement at Liverpool. That versatile, athletic defender who can cover multiple positions. He’s what I wanted Tuanzebe to become at United, tbh. Now add international + Champions League experience, PL proven, leadership at Villa… and Arsenal getting a defender who can actually defend big spaces. Ben White’s dipped, Saliba’s injured. Konsa makes a LOT of sense.
