Unused in Genoa contest
Neres (knee) didn't play in Saturday's 2-0 win over Genoa.
Analysis: Neres made the bench after recovering from a knee treatment late but will need some more time to be a real option, also because Napoli are rather deep on the wings, as they can count on Alisson Santos, Matteo Politano, Antonio Vergara and Noa Lang.
Selected for Genoa match
Neres (knee) will be an option Saturday, Napoli announced.
Analysis: Neres managed to ramp up enough to be called up in the final week before the opener despite missing the entire pre-season. He's likely to be used sparingly behind Mattia Politano and Alisson Santos at first. He tallied three goals, three assists, 66 crosses (17 accurate) and 27 key passes in 22 showings (12 starts) before an ankle injury in the previous campaign.
