Balanced display in defeat
Kadioglu recorded one cross (zero accurate) and four chances created in Friday's 1-0 loss versus Paraguay.
Analysis: Kadioglu delivered a well-rounded display on both sides of the ball, contributing two tackles, one interception and one clearance defensively while remaining one of Turkey's most dangerous outlets going forward. Alongside Kenan Yildiz he led the team in chances created with four, taking his tournament tally to nine across two games. Up next is the final game against the United States, and with Turkey eliminated, it remains to be seen whether coach Vincenzo Montella will give opportunities to players who haven't had much playing time, or aim to finish in the best way possible, with Eren Elmali as possible replacement.
Three crosses in loss
Kadioglu registered one shot (zero on goal), three crosses (zero accurate) and five chances created in Sunday's 2-0 loss against Australia.
Analysis: Kadioglu fired Turkiye's most dangerous chance from open play in the first half with a long-range effort in the 19th minute that missed the target, but his influence faded as Australia settled into the match and grew more confident. He logged the full 90 minutes, further confirming he is fully fit again for Turkiye, though he struggled to build chemistry with Kerem Akturkoglu and Arda Guler in the final third. Coming off a strong campaign with Brighton and entering the World Cup as one of Turkiye's most well-rounded players, Kadioglu will be expected to raise his level over the next two group-stage matches.
