Dealing with minor issue
Kadioglu (undisclosed) missed Sunday's match against Aston Villa due to a minor issue, according to coach Fabian Hurzeler, per AA Sports. "After the match against Tromso, he had a small problem, nothing serious. So I hope he'll be back on the pitch in the next few days."
Analysis: Kadioglu picked up the issue following the match against Tromso, but the injury is not considered serious and he could return in the coming days. The defender's absence should therefore be relatively brief, with his status worth monitoring ahead of Thursday's second leg against Tromso. Maxim De Cuyper is expected to start on the left flank if Kadioglu remains sidelined.
Absent for opener, reason unclear
Kadioglu was left out of Brighton's squad for Saturday's match against Aston Villa for reasons that remain unknown at this stage.
Analysis: Kadioglu's absence leaves a gap at left back, and there's currently no clarity on whether it stems from injury, fitness management, or something else entirely. Maxim De Cuyper and Lewis Dunk started on the left flank in his place. More details on the situation are expected to emerge in the coming days.
