Back with Liverpool
Elliott has returned to Liverpool following his loan with Aston Villa, according to his parent club.
Analysis: Elliott is back in Liverpool after his spell with Aston Villa, a season to forget for the English attacker. He would only earn 109 minutes with Villa in his four league appearances (one start), a bit of a waste of his time following the switch of clubs. The main question now for Elliott is where he will fit into the plans of the new manager, Andoni Iraola, as he could find a way back into time. However, it has now been a few seasons since he held a significant role with the team and may need a change to rejuvenate his career, possibly leaving the Premier League.
Option again
Elliott is available for upcoming games after being unable to play Friday against his parent club Liverpool due to contractual reasons.
Analysis: Elliott may see action in the final Premier League and UEL games of the season, but he could very well remain an unused substitute, as has been the case for most of the season. Considering all competitions, he has recorded eight shots and four crosses while failing to score or assist over 211 minutes of play in 2025/26. He'll likely serve as backup for Emiliano Buendia and John McGinn.
