Completes Sevilla switch
Guridi has completed a permanent transfer to Sevilla on Wednesday.
Analysis: Guridi spent the last four seasons at Alaves, and he should see regular playing time in Sevilla's midfield. That said, he's likely to operate as a holding midfielder, so his fantasy appeal shouldn't be very high. Guridi made at least 28 appearances in each of Alaves' last three top-flight seasons.
Leaves Alaves as free agent
Guridi will leave Alaves as a free agent following the expiration of his contract, bringing to an end a four-year association with the club, the club announced.
Analysis: Guridi made 148 official appearances during his time at Vitoria-Gasteiz, establishing himself as an important presence in the squad and one of the key figures in the club's historic promotion to the top flight in the 2022-23 season. The midfielder from Azpeitia contributed throughout his four seasons with consistent professionalism and commitment, earning the appreciation of the club, his teammates and the supporters. Alaves thanked him for his dedication and unwavering commitment over the years as he enters the market as a free agent.
